Timeline | the barn 1906

7:00 AM

The earliest allowable time that you are able to gain access to the Bridal Suite to get ready.
Please note that this is access to the Bridal Suite and not the barn.

12:00 PM

the barn 1906 team arrives to open the barn (Unless otherwise noted on your contract)

12:00 PM

Florist should arrive to arrange flowers on tables and attend to other floral needs.

1:30 PM

DJ arrives to set up equipment in the barn and, if applicable, at the ceremony location.

2:30 PM

Groom and Groomsmen arrive for optional First Look and/or photos.

3:30 PM

Guests begin to arrive a half hour before Ceremony.

4:00 PM

Ceremony begins.
Ceremonies are normally 20 - 30 minutes in length.
When having a religious ceremony, prepare for approximately one hour in length.

4:30 PM

Cocktail Hour at the barn and photos for the entire wedding party begin.

5:45 PM

An announcement should be made so that guests can make their way to their seats at the reception.

6:00 PM

The Bridal Party is introduced and enters the Reception. This is the Grand Entrance of the new Mr. and Mrs.
Any announcements and house rules are announced at this time. the barn 1906 team will ensure that your Master of Ceremonies or DJ receives the house rules prior to the Reception.

6:30 pm

Dinner is served.
Be sure to schedule time during or after dinner for toasts and speeches, cake cutting, and the first dance, if you wish to do so at this time.

8:30 - 9:00 PM

Everyone moves to the dance floor side of the barn for the First Dance, the Father/Daughter Dance and the Mother/Son Dance. This will then lead to the dance portion of your wedding.

10:30 - 11:00 PM

Late night menu should be served and announced.
Please note that a late-night snack is required at the barn 1906.

12 AM

Last drinks have been served. The bar is now closed, and the DJ will turn off the music.

12:30 AM

Barn and property are closed and locked up.
No guests, vendors, or persons are to remain on the property beyond this time.
