Photography PERMITS

the barn 1906 property is available to rent for photo sessions! With its charming historic buildings, beautiful landscaped grounds, and natural surroundings, it offers a stunning and unique backdrop for your family, engagement, or special occasion photos. This location provides the perfect setting to capture these memorable moments.

Outdoor use only

This permit is for outdoor use only. Access to all buildings on site, including the main barn, sheds, and house, is not permitted. However, you are welcome to use the porches and the arbour! For safety and preservation, entering the fields is also not allowed.

PERMIT FEE

$100 for 1 hour
$400 for 5 hours - Day Permit (Available exclusively for photographers looking to book multiple sessions in one day)

If you have booked your wedding with us, you’re entitled to complimentary use of the property for your engagement photos!

Payment and Cancellation Information

100% of the permit fee is due at the time of booking. Payment can be made via e-transfer to the email provided during the booking process.

If you need to cancel your session, cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund of the permit fee. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session are non-refundable.

If poor weather is expected, we’re happy to reschedule your session at no additional cost.

Permit Rules

As mentioned above, there is absolutely no entry to any buildings on site.

Permits must be booked in advance as we are not able to accommodate walk-ins.

There is no moving or adding any furniture or decor unless you have received permission.

Leave no trace. All trash, props, and personal belongings must be brought home with you.

Please help us care for the property by not climbing on trees or structures.

Pets are allowed but you must clean up after them.

The property is located on a working farm. Please do not touch or sit on any farm equipment that may be on site.

Please note that there are no washrooms available for use on site.
