 Join Our Team at the barn 1906 – Venue Team Member

Are you kind, welcoming, and hardworking? Do you have a heart for hospitality? the barn 1906, a family owned venue, is looking for individuals who embody these virtues.

This is an extremely casual, flexible position, perfect for teachers or anyone with summer and weekend availability!

Job Responsibilities

As a Venue Team Member, you’ll play an essential role in making weddings and  unforgettable. Responsibilities include:

• Setting up & decorating for weddings
• Cleaning & maintaining the venue’s beautiful spaces
• Taking down & packing up after events
• Bartending (Smart Serve required for bartending shifts)

Shifts & Scheduling

Shifts are typically 6 hours long on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from May to October, with the following time slots:

• 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM (cleanup shifts)
• 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (cleanup shifts)
• 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• 8:00 PM – 2:00 AM

We will provide you with a list of all available shifts, and you will let us know which ones you’d like to work. However, this does not guarantee you will be scheduled for all your requested shifts. Our final work schedule is sent out one month in advance.

Requirements

This role requires:

• You must be 20 or older
• The ability to be on your feet for up to eight hours
• The ability to lift heavy objects, move items from location to location, as well as up and down stairs
• A strong work ethic—you’re not afraid of hard work and take pride in doing a job well
• An eye for detail—you take the extra time to ensure everything looks beautiful and is set up perfectly
